Who Are We?
Ondokuz Mayıs University's Alaçam Vocational School utilizes up-to-date educational techniques to train intermediate personnel. We utilize all available resources effectively to provide theoretical and practical expertise and to meet the needs of the business world and various institutions and organizations for qualified personnel.
Our Vocational School is an educational institution that is productive, inquisitive, self-confident, respectful of social values, contributes to social and cultural life, possesses professional knowledge and skills, and is able to adapt to ever-changing conditions.
Founded in 2009, our Vocational School has 12 faculty members and currently enrolls nearly a thousand students.

Our academic staff at our leading Vocational School in the field of transportation embraces a management approach that adheres to universal academic and ethical values. Our Vocational School aims to educate students who possess the knowledge required by contemporary vocational education, possess strong scientific skills, and possess analytical skills. Our academic staff at our Vocational School have achieved numerous accomplishments. In addition to publications published in various publications, our faculty has also received the Best Paper Award.
What Have Our Students Achieved Through What Facilities?
Our Vocational School has two laboratories for our students to utilize. Additionally, our library houses nearly 1,500 domestic and international works.
What are our programs and the job opportunities they offer?
Management and Organization Department/Logistics Program: There are numerous job opportunities in the private and public sectors, particularly in the logistics sector.
Transportation Services Department/Postal Services Program: Graduates of the program can work as mail carriers at the PTT (Turkish Postal Service) or at cargo or courier companies that provide postal services outside of the PTT. They can also establish postal agencies, courier companies, or cargo companies using the knowledge they gain from the program.
Transportation Services Department/Maritime and Port Management Program: Graduates have employment opportunities as intermediate personnel in maritime management companies, ship agencies, and ports.
Office Services and Secretarial Department/Call Center Services Program: Graduates have the opportunity to easily find employment in the growing call center sector. What International Exchange Programs Do We Offer to Our Students?
Our Vocational School supports the Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana student exchange programs, providing study opportunities in countries and schools with which our university has agreements. Student exchange programs provide opportunities to enhance language learning.
In What Ways Do We Support a Professional, Cultural, and Social Atmosphere?
Our campus includes a computer and call center laboratory. Additionally, there is a volleyball court, a reading room, and a library for students. Our Vocational School provides the institutional foundation necessary to create an atmosphere conducive to the cultural development of our students. Our Vocational School collaborates with private businesses to offer Workplace Training and Workplace Practices courses. We also collaborate with Şehit Erdal BOLAT Multi-Program High School in our district to help students choose their university.
